As the vaccination programme continues to progress successfully around the United Kingdom and more and more people become eligible for their first dose, one important question has arisen; “What to wear on the big day?” The answer, surprisingly, lies with Dolly Parton.

If you haven’t seen the video of Parton receiving her first dose of the Moderna vaccine yesterday, you need to do yourself a favour and watch it. As well as her iconic ‘Jolene’ remix, her choice of top has been a hot topic of conversation. Opting for a style with cutouts over the top of the arms meant Parton didn’t have to roll up her sleeve when receiving the jab. This ‘vaccine top’ goes with any type of trousers / skirts that you might want to pair with it so you can get your first jab and then pose for an ootd picture for Instagram straight after. Genius.

So, not only do we have Dolly to thank for the classic hits 9 to 5, and I will always love you, her iconic role as Miley’s godmother in Hannah Montana, we now have our vaccine day outfit sorted as well. What a woman.
